Taken the plunge and paid £7 for a month of ACE TV. Currently watching Sky sports news in full HD. Perfect!

How far behind live it is?

Looks to be a tad over one minute. I can live with that.

Ultimatemania (everything including Sportsmania) £75 for 12 months.
Last season's EPL was perfect... this season remains to be seen, but no probs expected?

That wouldn't bother me either. If you're watching a footy game, it just means it kicks off a minute later on your telly.

I use the above thread to try and educate myself on kodi and subscription sport John. A few seem to have had problems with Ultimatemania (although others haven't). Read good things about ACE so downloaded the android app on my tv box. So far so good.

I have been using UltimateMania for about three or four month and think it is pretty good.

I have never downloaded Kodi and have just watched in a browser which is fine.  I also mirror to Apple TV to watch on TV.  Sometimes there is no volume though.

I have attempted to load Kodi on a Mac and PC but without success.  I think some of the instructions are out of date and do not match what appears on Kodi.

However, trying today to get Premier League matches, it says need to download Kodi.

Do any of the alternatives use browser windows rather than Kodi?

Not sure Jack. Although you can add ACE on kodi I've been using it via the Android app.I have to say the service is flawless
