Everyone who quotes "...no one can know the day or hour...", is misinformed because the rapture is not the context of the Olivet Discourse.
Behold I show you a mystery* that we shall not all sleep but be changed in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump. (Greek word* mystery - mysterion-something that has not been revealed until now)
Rosh Hashana is known as having two idioms, ascribed to it.
The day and hour that nobody knows – by the SIGHTING of the new moon the day was determined, Today we have the calendar pinned down, back when the holiday was started it was the job of the SanHedrin to determine the day.
Like a thief in the night – Rosh Hashana .
It’s a day for Resurrection and Judgement. The month of ELUL proceeds it – in that month the jews are instructed to prepare themselves for Judgement , making yourself pure in thought. (more info - wiki – ELUL)
Jesus is saying – only God knows what Rosh Hashana it will be.
Time has moved on, and God reveals all to his servants. God’s glory is in the heavens.
Modern computers can reveal the skies in advance using progression software. Johannes Kepler has made it possible to track heavenly bodies.
In November the 16th 2016 Jupiter entered Virgo, It has stayed in Virgo for Ten Months, it leaves on the 23rd of September – Rosh Hashana in the year 5777 (2017).
It has many other visitors surrounding it on that day. Making it the fulfilment of the description in Revelation. The revelation 12 Sign. God’s Clock is a heavenly Sign and it’s not to be confused with Satan’s Warping of such signs into Astrology and Horoscopes. Satan cannot move the stars, only God can.
This is the right time. The year count is correct in 100 different ways.
The enemy knows it’s this year and is mounting a defence. They talk about life in other planets, evolution finds and discoveries; they are reinforcing their opposition.
More and more statements will come in the next two months to cause people to doubt if God exists. I expect nothing less in the last year of the battle between GOD and evil. If you have been captured by Satan and the world. Refusing God’s love. You might have a chance to come to God after the rapture. It will be life and death. You have to choose death. Satan will say God has left you to him. Never believe the father of lies.
AUG 21st - a possible warning - in the usa.
September 23rd - 2017 - The end of the Church Age. The rapture.
