On another thread it said police had to abort any chase if they took their helmets off.
Shows the diff between us and the USA. The American cops would see it as an opportunity to go for a head shot.

Back in the day when radios were something you put in your car yourself, my mate used to tape razor blades to his radio so if some sod tried to nick it they'd cut the tips of their finger tips off. His theory was it would be easy to find out who it was by fingerprinting the left finger tips Laugh

You could try this. Btw, if the police ask you why you are carrying it, the answer is, 'because the law says I can'.

Being discussed on LBC now.

Presenter said 50,000 of these incidents a year in London alone. Is that right? That's almost 1,000 per week.

Pleasing news. The police are actually making an effort to fight back.

Doubtless Shameless Chakrabarti will be looking into this as a matter of priority, to see if there's any way this police response can be nullified. The Human Rights of the Criminals to be Criminals will doubtless have greater weight.

Regarding the Moped Problem ,I would suggest a Bazooka Type Device could be Employed firing at the Rear wheel ..

Infact Im not sure why they are not employed in Car Chases ,After lets say three warnings if the Car fails to Stop

A special Siren and Bazooka employed warning goes off, Giving the said car a certain time  to stop ,by this time the weapon is locked on and Bingo end of chase and danger to other people ...

Amazed that the Yanks have not Employed them years back . I would call it a Life saving Tactic TBH ...

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to present the face and poster-boy for Acid Attack Crime on Khan's Progressive, Culturally-Enriched London.  This is the future of London you are looking at.

He's been jailed for a derisory 10 and a half years for a series of staggering serious (and cowardly) crimes, AND declined to identify his accomplice for good measure.

Some of our most Progressive TV news shows tried very hard to bury this inconvenient story with as brief a mention as possible.

Take your pick of the print media outlets.

The 17-year-old would have faced a 22-year jail term had he been sentenced as an adult and convicted after a trial instead of pleading guilty, the judge said.

The trouble is, if one defends oneself with suitable force against this scum, one will get a longer stretch than the scum himself!
