Apologies twonky after SH's response I jumped to conclusions ! Actually agree with much of what you said yesterday regarding England. Used to go back in the day mainly for the violence (35 to 40 years ago) it was my generation that gave England its reputation and now it's the fans of today who pay the price with many countries hoolighan's wanting to have a pop at them many of whom are decent law abiding fans. The idiots you see today are highlighted by the press.
I stopped going because I got fed up of the infighting between rival English firms, fxxk we've rowed with West Ham in Glasgow it's not like we didn't have our work cut out for us in the first place without rucking amongst ourselves ! My last game with England was Holland away in the nineties. As for the team itself I always enjoy tournaments more if we don't qualify ! Always embarrassing with the likes of until recently Rooney at the helm ![]() |
