I don't have hatred for any team as I really don't care about football enough to be bothered. I do enjoy going to see Palace play 4 or 5 times a year though having said with mates some of which I've  have known since school who are all fanatical but I just cannot be bothered to get a season ticket as I'd hardly ever go. I'd rather be at the races on a Saturday afternoon or watch Harlequins play rugby instead personally.

For me first and foremost it's Spurs. You've only got to watch the YouTube video at Wembley Park bullying a woman and then boshing a couple of shirts. They really are pure scum with no rules. The next on my list are Celtic ! Who are the bright sparks who think it's a good idea to have friendly's against IRA supporting anti English fans who love to sing songs about Liegh Rigby..............actually it takes some doing but actually their above Spurs in my pure hate list and no doubt while I know I'm well past my sell by date I'd take a trundle out if they come up against Chelsea. Honourable mention to Leeds Utd who again like Spurs don't seem to have any rules, although it was a t0ss up between them and Liverpool ! As for West Ham, had more punches in the ear going to Upton Park than at any club but I don't think they come anywhere close to being utter scum Mischief

Mine's probably Arsenal. Not sure why they get up my nose. It's not the Thomas goal and I quite liked watching them when they had that good spell. I think it's the fans' sense of entitlement maybe. Utd and Everton are a natural given though not as much as most. Chelsea seem to try very hard to be hated but I don't mind them too much.
Report johnnyrant • August 2, 2017 9:03 AM BST
Loathe the entire Premiership. Who do so many seemingly sane people get so caught up in this turgid nonsense like their life depends on it? Especially when the top teams invariably consist of 9, 10 or even 11 overseas players. Not to mention coached by overseas managers and foreign-owned. The clubs are totally faceless now, & the Prem only exists in the interest of money men. Utterly futile and fickle to remain rabid in your support of a club you probably arbitrarily ended up choosing to support at a young age.

It's not really irrational, in that there is solid evidence that every West Ham fan will shoehorn into the conversation that 'they won the World Cup in 1966', within five minutes of you meeting them.

Also the memories of their green bomber-jacketed fans, goose-stepping down the Seven Sisters Road in the 1980's, looking like the bile that shot out of Linda Blair's throat in The Exorcist.

Probably a subliminal thing: I really do loathe West Ham

Chelsea...plastic flags, plastic team, plastic owned and plastic fans...when the oil robber has finally had enough f them or he's bumped off and there's no money to keep the club afloat, the team will drop down to their realistic level of lower league football and half of their fans will be back watching Fulham which is where they came from in the first place...the club has no class whatsoever and stop trying to buy history..you have none and never will have.

Wigan athletic, let me down for a 10 team Accra worth about 18k a few years back..we're winning 3-0 at ht at millwall..ended up a draw..hate them even more than the rugby league team and that's saying something.

England..and everyone connected

Starting from the top,the FA and what fine knowledgeable footballing aficionados this bunch are..the last time I looked they consisted of a former bbc north west commentator, a royal fudge packer who's done the best part of fcuk all for over 30 years, a bloke who invented Roland Rat and another whom after the Iceland comedy performance said," football is not really my forte" ...well at least 1 of em is honest.

The fans, low intelligence, knuckle dragging Neanderthals who still live in the 70s. Must be able to drink copious amounts of lager whilst simultaneously having the ability to insult the locals. Booing the oppos national anthem and knowing only 4 lines of God save the queen are essential as is a knowledge of British history, ie, the role of the ira in English football chants and the Luftwaffe. Wearing a st George outfit ( even though he was Turkish ) or an England shirt showing of tattoos is a must. Musically they must either play a trumpet or know the theme to the dambusters movie.

The players ( sic), must be skilfully challenged. Passing to feet and kicking pigskin between 2 sticks is a plus but not essential. Must show the ability to get into the dailies on a regular basis and have a nice bird on your arm, nice car and a nice hairdo which must be maintained on a daily basis.

johnnyrant you change your women never your team ! Yes Chelsea are doing well but weren't so hot when I watched them. One season went to 52 games Chelsea won six games all season Mischief I do take your point about the premier league but it is what it is. Personally I don't bother to much, might do a few away Champions league games but that won't involve going in. Just a good day out with the lads !

As for twonky sounds like you support the scum please refer to my earlier post Mischief

Same for me ufcdan, I first went to Selhurst Park in 1974 when I was 7 and through thick and thin they have always been and always will be my team.
There are people near me that drink in the local pubs that I do, South London born and bred like I am and they support sodding Manchester United! I have been to Old Trafford a few times over the years but some of them have never been at all, not even once!
Report scandanavian_haven • August 2, 2017 7:06 PM BST
Glory hunters are always looked down upon, there in the media as well, Andy Goldstein on Talksport is a United fan, he's a cockney who didn't fancy supporting West Ham, I find it hard to take people like that seriously when they always talk about "my club".

I think it's OK for people outside of England to support an English club, because they probably support their local club in their country as well, but I can't be doing with cockney reds. Maybe it's a London thing, you don't get any fans in Manchester supporting London clubs, it's all City and United.
Report Blackrock • August 2, 2017 7:51 PM BST
Alot of Man Utd fans outside of Manchester started followed Utd after Munich tradgedy. And since then its been passed to the the sons. In Ireland nearly everybody follows Man Utd or Liverpool and Celtic of course.. They don't really follow their local clubs [maybe when they happen to be doing well].

I had to google Warrington, thought it was Cornwall for some reason

mafe, are they from Manchester or Liverpool which is what I talking about, I would be surprised because I can't imagine Mancunians and Scousers supporting Tottenham instead of City/United/Everton/Liverpool?

I also think twonky is stuck in the 70's, because the number of Neanderthal fans compared to then are few and far between, they still exists but nowhere near the same numbers.

Apologies twonky after SH's response I jumped to conclusions ! Actually agree with much of what you said yesterday regarding England. Used to go back in the day mainly for the violence (35 to 40 years ago) it was my generation that gave England its reputation and now it's the fans of today who pay the price with many countries hoolighan's wanting to have a pop at them many of whom are decent law abiding fans. The idiots you see today are highlighted by the press.
I stopped going because I got fed up of the infighting between rival English firms, fxxk we've rowed with West Ham in Glasgow Crazy it's not like we didn't have our work cut out for us in the first place without rucking amongst ourselves ! My last game with England was Holland away in the nineties.
As for the team itself I always enjoy tournaments more if we don't qualify ! Always embarrassing with the likes of until recently Rooney at the helm Sad
