I haven't got a clue what's gone on over the last couple of days but apparently, I've sent money to one of my mates in FIVE separate transactions.
The amounts were for £200, £100, £10, £500 & £1000 - I can't remember even signing into my account once over the weekend!

I spoke to them on the phone earlier and their stinking attitude is that because I've sent & received money from that particular friend on several
occasions over the years, they don't deem any of this tomfoolery as suspicious...despite me informing them that I was out last night when the last
payment was made.

I've just received an email after their 'investigation' and would you believe these pricks have told me they're NOT gonna reverse the payments as they
couldn't identify a third party...despite my request for the IP address information which could help clear this matter up.

Has anyone else had similar shenanigans with these gobshítes? They can be such non-negotiable ****s as they seem to make extra efforts to be unhelpful.

What does your mate have to say?

He's not happy...he's just WRONGLY assumed I'm being a greaser - besides, we fell out about 6 months ago.

If you fell out with your mate 6 months ago, and he's received 5 payments from you...does 2 and 2 = 4 ?

Any chance he knows your log in details and sent the payments to himself.

Why would a rogue fraudster sent payments to anyone not himself?

SH - I woke up to an abusive text from him and I'm totally at a loss.

Even if he did guess my password he'd have no need to do anything like this as he's got about £30K+ for any rainy days.
Besides...it just wouldn't be his style - for whatever I could call him, he's not a fraud fiend.

What's puzzling me is that this is so pointless if someone else has managed to arrange a transaction...no cash would be transferred.
I'm thinking it's a cóck-up by Paypal somehow but I can't understand why they wouldn't be as eager as I am to sort out this mess
in just checking out the IP address.

I'm waiting for a call back from those tools and I'm gonna demand answers.

Made some headway, though it's far from resolved...my account's been compromised by a third party and the IP address was from 200+ miles away!
