The problem is the experienced weapons handlers have downed tools and the folks that have not used a weapon before are keen but need time to get up to speed.

I was actually turned down by the army for medical reasons....

I'm surprised the serial draft dodger has any views at all on who should be in the army -- which might explain why this has come up: Trump is throwing some red meat to congress whose votes he needs on other issues.

Trump doesn't know what day it is.....any strategy is down to Steve Bannon and his little team.

The reasons given are 'tremendous medical costs' and 'disruption'. What are the extra medical costs that transgender people have?

A person wishing to leave the military in the middle of active service usually has to pay up for the costs incurred on his training. People who've spent a part of their career in army and now find themselves stranded can get a decent payday if they get a good lawyer. You cant just sign up to serve your country and then be told to go home, because the president said so.
