The reasons given are 'tremendous medical costs' and 'disruption'. What are the extra medical costs that transgender people have?
A person wishing to leave the military in the middle of active service usually has to pay up for the costs incurred on his training. People who've spent a part of their career in army and now find themselves stranded can get a decent payday if they get a good lawyer. You cant just sign up to serve your country and then be told to go home, because the president said so. |
