no - and I have just realised why they use the word - it avoids having to say things like somali community etc

kind of hiding/obfuscating if you follow

no it's not a word made up I know but suddenly seems to have become trending popular - like challenging etc

I'd say 'Somali Community' is more recent terminology  , 1990s , 'diaspora' more old fashioned.

Check out Somalian gang fight and car ramming in Wealdstone on u-tube,they really do add to the vibrancy of London.
