It's a genuine question. If the Israelis haven't been able to get rid of the palestinian problem in 5 years, how is it that we haven't yet attempted to liberate them? Or have we done that at some point?

I'm intrigued as to why you believe Israel would need any assistance if it decided to finish off Palestinian militants. Israel has already shown that when it comes to dealing with existentialist threats it is more than capable of dealing with the combined might of the Arab world - you must surely be aware that since the last time it happened Israel has become a nuclear power while the medievalists lined up against it have regressed further - much further in fact - to the Stone Age than they were in 1967?Israel doesn't really need to finish off any Palestinian militants because they are no more than a minor irritant in the grand scheme of things.
Then why does it not? Wouldn't it be easier to just solve the problem through one war rather than starting a conflict every few years and having to explain it all to UN and at other forums where Israelis often face criticism(including in Europe and America).
And i know I talk nonsense. But talking nonsense isn't banned on the forum is it? Especially not on a forum called chit chat, i would think.
