Held to ransom over the oul pipeline running ftom Ukraine ( Russia) to supply UK .
So Why Oh Why can't we run an oil pipeline under the ocean from the USA ????
They could add say 5 dollars a barrel to the selling cost of the oil to pay for the pipeline ..
We've run telecomunications cables under before and in 1944 we
ran an oil pupeline from UK to DDay beschescunder the Channel ..
Which kept the whole of the D Day invasion force in oil and fuel...
and that technology was here over 70 years ago !!
It makes sound logical and commercial sense to me -- and more security for the UK.
