I've got what i believe to be hives on my torso that itch like feck. Been there 2-3 weeks and i think they are clearing up slowly. Anyone ever had hives?

I got some for the first time ever after I started taking amlodipine,a blood pressure medication.Hives are listed as a possible side effect of taking this.I also had a more common side effect(swollen feet and ankles).

After I stopped this medication it took several months for the hives to clear.

Allergic drug reactions can result in hives.
