Guardian,BBC,Sky news,Ch4,Huffington post,James O'Brien stick the smug lot em all in a raft and watch it sail away.

Cheap Labour is their God lads least we forget,and too protect that they'll spout any old crap to get them in.

Constantly amazed how much time right wingers spend reading or watching the guardian, the beeb, that guy on LBC etc etc.



It's like fact reflecting the fiction of the paranoid little Englanders twitching behind their curtains and getting terrified of everything they see.

Surely it's a good idea to observe the news from various media sources.  If "right-wingers" only read Breitbart you'd say their encounter with the news was skewed.

The MSM, eg CNN and the Guardian, are desperate to get back to the 20th century when they could control the news.

Interesting that you include CNN and the Guardian in the MSM bracket but not Fox News, the Mail or The Times etc. I wonder why that is.

they aren't making that much money and they haven't mastered it.

they get a lot of traffic, a phenomenal amount actually, but their impact is incredibly weak, both in terms of journalistic influence and the advertising revenue they get online. their costs are also huge compared to other people like upworthy or buzzfeed.

there is also almost nothing unique to the "service" that they provide, which is largely grot and clickbait distraction, and of no real consequence. in fact it's worse than that, in that in striving to have such a broad appeal, it weakens its value, both in terms of how easily its visitors will go elsewhere, and advertising.

I know on the grun they are silly erses  but you tend not to see any big ones on there

I beg to differ. They have got the formula of pictures, video and just the facts right. And are not consumed by their political agenda.

On the internet, in whatever space, there is generally only one winner, and in the mass market english language news, it looks to be the Daily Mail, as they capture more and more readers in the USA and Australia (my mrs reads it). No uniqueness required.
