She would win a few points off of her serve against lower ranked players which is phenomenol serve btw but would struggle to take more than 1 game in a set against any top 500 player or so, the heaviness of the shot something she doesn't have to deal vast majority of the time and out spin on these heavy shots from the male players and it's like a different sport for her, she would end up many too many unforced errors, then there is basic speed.

The fastest women that ever lived clocked 10.42 seconds and that is highly debatable to be worthy of being an offical time, yet in there have tens of thousands of men who have run thr 100meters faster than that, just to give you an idea of the differences in phisiology between man and women and what their limits are.

I think people like McEnroe bring this up almost because when people say she can beat the men, in his mind his 'manliness' is coming under thread so he goes into full throttle alpha male mode to put her in her place.

Katie Ledecky is the closest female to her male counterparts in any physical sport I know of, but there's probably something about endurance swimming that lends itself to the female gender, and Ledecky is streets ahead of her nearest female competitor.  I think Lisa Ashton would win a few darts matches, especially on the current men's BDO circuit!

Darts wouldn't have a gulf as big as Tennis because it's a passive sport, a man's hand eye cordination is not superiors to a womens as far as I know, in any physical sport, women can't compete me simply because of their makeup. I think in the future you will see women competiting against men competitvely in Snooker especially when those Chinese boot camps they have going on atm comes to fruition.

The equal pay thing is a bit silly (3 sets instead of 5 etc) but womens tennis is still an incredibly high standard. Unlike womens footy, rugger and cricket..

Chrissie Wellington was regularly in the top 10 of both sexes in Triathlon event when the pre-eminent female competitor. She's the closest for my money in a 'proper' sport.
Darts-wise, womens special awareness is not as developed as mens. A consequence of being back at the camp making our environment more habitable whilst we were out on the grasslands chasing prey and avoiding being eaten ourselves - it also explains that whole parking thing......

He shouldn't have risen to the bait, but he is factually correct. In fact he was being kind to her - she wouldn't stand a chance against the likes of #800 Jamie Murray or even the much lower ranked journeyman in the 1000+ rankings. She even said it herself - the men play a different sport.

Both Williams sisters when they were at their peak, played a 203rd ranked Karsten Braasch in a challenge match, and both got hammered. The German wasn't even taking it seriously warming up with " a leisurely round of golf in the morning followed by a couple of shandies."

Whenever I've watched a mixed doubles match,the women seem to cope fine. They don't get overpowered by the men.

I wish my woman had better special awareness. It would solve a lot of headaches.

Maybe her spatial awareness is 100%. Maybe your ... awareness is lacking.
