You all laughed at me a couple of weeks ago when I said corby was riding a wave. Now who looks silly!!??
At least we are going to stuff most of those careerists in the PLP. Hopefully looking for new jobs. I wonder how backstabber kinnock(S) feeling after his nasty comments and all the candidates who didn't want corby to be featured in their campaign. Bet they are singing a different tune now!! |

Do the people you know who are coming out to vote Labour already live in a Labour constituency or not?
Not many Birmingham constituencies which aren't already Labour strongholds.(I'm making that assumption because of your user name). |

Correct about the username(villa fan) but live in Reading. Used to be a labour stronghold years ago but currently tory.
Labour are 14/1 to win Reading west(my area) so be difficult to turn that around. But its not just local people its people all over my facebook who live all over the country. Just saying what im seeing |

the youth won't get off their @sses in enough numbers to make a difference.

I read some research last week that said for 18-24 year olds to affect the result they would have to have approx 80% turnout. Last election was approx 25%. The numbers may not be completely correct as I am going from memory!

Exactly
if the youth were half as motivated as they're prolific on social media we would already be living in an Independent Scotland. and the great irony is, that now I'm extremely thankful for their laziness long may it continue ![]() |

Thanks for the information, Prepared83. I have a mate who is a Villa fan which is why I recognised the motto.
I live in a labour stronghold but will go out and give my sympathy vote to the Tory candidate. The interesting thing is that I've received several leaflets from both Labour and Liberal candidates but nothing since the council elections from the Conservatives. No doubt they have thrown in the towel here. ![]() |
