What's the definition of intelligent?

Usually it's a description of themselves by the one who's trying to define it.

Which isn't much use if they're not very intelligent - although hang on.

The article merely states that poor achievers at school are more likely to take up right -wing views.
Of course those views have got nothing to do with capitalism, which is what many people see as the cornerstone of right-wing thinking.

They're  simply referring to under achievers who make up the bulk of people who are prepared to stand up and be counted in whatever fight they take on.

The majority of people who hold the same views do not show their hand so readily, for fear of stigmatising themselves in the eyes of the PR brigade, the do-gooders and the bleeding hearts.

left wingers  will achieve more at school by their thought process - tehy generally tend to be more  considered in their approach to most things .  Right wing folk will gamble more  (maybe the business angle coming into play Crippen)   - i don't think that has anything to do with sheer intelliegence though ,although the more vocal right wingers i have met tend to be as thick as f00k

on all these audience election debates.lots of tory voters especially women seem to buy the ,may needs a strong mandate argument.yet with a leader who they no u turns on the top of a pin within days,they tell us policies their not happy with pensions. social care.winter fuel bills etc.etc and then say they,ll vote tory anyway.mizz may sat at home labels them lemmings or cannon fodder.why don't they threaten the u turn prime minister with their vote instead of saying they,ll vote for her anyway.
