I'm not talking about the sweeney or minder. They are still being shown on Itv3 and Itv4.

I got round to watching a dvd i bought a while ago - Moody and Pegg. (1974)
seems freemantle(australia?) has all the old brit tv shows bought up.

At the time it was shown, it got an audience of 15 million viewers (three stations on tv)
it starred Derek Waring and Judy Cornwall.
It's like a historical document. The way we used to live. I watched it as a kid aged eight.
Like rising damp it shows that decor was not what we are used to today.
lack of emulsion in the seventies? brown decor is everywhere. Old kitchen cabinets.
outside is well represented too - old cars and buses.
three course meals for 36p. it really was a blast from the past.
my attention was split between the scenery and the story.
very passive slow drama.

is there any lost dramas you can recommend. the BBC destroyed a lot? i was hoping to see
don camillo(1980) with Brian Blessed, but it looks lost?

The Eyes Have It.

A group of terrorists posing as plumbers set up base at a school for the blind. The students remain blissfully unaware, while the terrorists plan the assassination of a politician who will soon be passing the school on a parade route. Only one student, Sally, suspects that the men upstairs may be dangerous...

Who would not want to watch that ? Cool

Good Salary, Prospects , Free Coffin.

An ad appears in a London paper, looking for a woman with a sense of adventure and no ties. A young woman lands the job, says goodbye to her two roommates, and never contacts them again. Six weeks later, one of the other roommates finds the same ad in the paper and applies. She is hired immediately, and despite her close friendship with her roommate, never writes or calls. Four months later, the last roommate sees the ad in the paper again, and determines to get to the bottom of the mystery.
