The amount spent on flowers after events like this is ridiculous.  It's all vanity.  If people want to make a difference then spend that £10+ on a suitable charity rather than flowers.  They won't get their 15 seconds of virtue signalling but it will be money better spent.

A lot of virtue signalling going on right now on Facebook etc.  Sharing a pink balloon or whatever will do no good at all, in fact it can do harm.

Should make a donation to the Manchester Emergency fund.
But then again that doesn't draw you any attention.

It's hardly the florist's fault is it. What do you want them to do, give the flowers away?
