would be much better if they spent their resources on investigating where the problem comes from in THIS country but no - it is running around in circles reacting instead of acting before anything happens

but they won't  too many votes to loose.

Anyone would think nothing was being done by Government from the comments on here from posters
with all the solutions.Maybe it's to appease these sorts of people who are cynical.

If they put one on every street, in every town, it will still be ineffective, and won't stop the kind of attack as in Manchester!

They need to put people in every place but not out on the streets.

A security expert summed it up this morning when he said it would be impossible to eliminate all crime
in this country.

Im all for having the army at large scale events, concerts and things incase anyone gets clever and tries to do something like Paris.

But I wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt just all about MPs wanting more protection.

no not crime - and that is precisely what they want it to be
the muslim appologist on sky was saying that he wanted it turned into a crime

not a muslim terrorist attack (which it was)

like you barking they want to confuse the issue so we don't look at the actual problem and where it
is coming from

they are desperately trying to deflect attention away from their so called religion

democracy can not continue in a straight line, it must always be interrupted short non democratic periods.
this is the nature of democracy.

it is not a case of putting the military on the streets, we need to put them in power.

We're in the run up to an election, it's just to try and score points, up until the bomb May was having a rancid time, she was losing points, coming across weak and making u-turns, she's using the bombing to her advantage, nothing more, if you think politicians won't use the murder of kids to their benefit you're deluded.

I don't know.

There's madness in the method. You only put the army on the streets when there is an armed uprising or threat of military invasion.

Are you after a war then barking mad?  You seem to want to stir it up by asking lots of provocative questions.
You even implied i was after more terrorist attacks.
You need to be careful slinging words and innuendo around like that.

an army should not be deployed as part of the social services, that is one thing.
an army must be respected, and feared to some measure.

so who exactly has been cutting the army and police for 10 years or more???
By:

When: 24 May 17 17:10
It is posturing I'm afraid. Taxpayers money would be better spent on increasing money to the police and intelligence forces. When one of these b@astards slips through the cracks it is an oft used argument that there are not the resources to track each and every target. I don't care if Labour or the Tories are in govt - the security/intelligence services should always be adequately funded so they are not trying to do their job with one hand tied behind their backs. Also, when did it become customary for the police force to be faced with cuts constantly? I remember the Tories of the 80s were keen on police funding.

all too long too late

now events being held in manchester to celebrate what exactly

they were cheering and clapping last night

I would have thought it more appropriate to respect those who have lost loved ones not
yell and clap.

why wasn't there concern before the attack

there have been enough warnings
