Getting a bike for my grandson's birthday and, having heavily criticised Halfords previously I, nevertheless popped in as I was
in Homebase nearby.
Having a look around and a kid came to ask if he could help....
Me "I'm looking for a bike for my eight year old grandson"
Him "How old is he"?
Me "He's still eight"!
God give me strength.....

I bought a no pedals bike for my niece's children.
It lasted years, two boys and a girls used it, and enjoyed it.

Just the two wheels. They put their feet on the ground and push themselves along.
It didn't have balance wheels on the back.
