Getting a bike for my grandson's birthday and, having heavily criticised Halfords previously I, nevertheless popped in as I was
in Homebase nearby.
Having a look around and a kid came to ask if he could help....
Me "I'm looking for a bike for my eight year old grandson"
Him "How old is he"?
Me "He's still eight"!
God give me strength.....

Islabikes and Frog. Look 'em up on google. Islabikes are by far the best. Expensive but hold their value amazingly.

I bought a no pedals bike for my niece's children. It lasted years, two boys and a girls used it, and enjoyed it. |

Just the two wheels. They put their feet on the ground and push themselves along.

Isla always says if you teach a kid to ride with stabilisers it's like riding a 3 wheeler and then they have to learn to balance 2 wheels so start 'em off on 2 wheels.
