Moonbeams was a children's cancer charity based in Edinburgh, Scotland, which became the subject of a much-publicised local controversy in 2003. Following court action, it emerged that the charity had income of nearly £3 million over a period of four years, but had spent little over £70,000 on its charitable objectives. The Moonbeams collapse was one of a series of incidents which ultimately led to extensive reform of charity regulation in Scotland

An MP was amongst its patrons. As the report says it led to reforms but large wages and living the good life on expenses still exists.
These charities recruit their management on the same basis as any other businesses ie you gotta pay big bucks to attract the best.

three billion chickens - evolution made the chicken tasty. survival of the delicious.
now if we started breeding tigers for meat there would be millions of them.
we could release 100,000 of them a year into a country like Afghanistan or Libya.
the tigers would kill the isis blokes and that would make everything right?

what? it's a thought.
