I used to deal in collectables. Wade, Sylvac, Doulton etc but that market has long gone tastes have moved on plus EBay and to many programs on TV has also helped to kill the market. Nowadays your better off dealing in old toys, tools etc

Ebay used to be good ten years ago - but the market has increased so much there is a glut of stuff. Items you thought were rare once, are easily found on it.
I remember chasing an item in the book shops for years -- nada. every week asking around. Go on ebay and there's ten sitting on it. |
