Ever since recycling divided up waste into separate bins it has created a fort nightly ritual of humiliation....but only to those who have worked it out.
The distinctive sound of the crashing of beer bottles from the tipping of blue bins into the back of the refuge wagon.
Probably one in every three houses into the distance can be heard as the wagon makes its way along the road.
No way are they all picalli eaters ffs.
It's just the noticeable bi-product of an alcohol dependent nation.

The latest way to get one up on the neighbours is have a collection of upmarket wine and beer bottles in the recycle box outside your house. A walk along the street before the bin lorry arrives is a must for a nosy neighbour.

Our previous neighbours had so many empties, mainly whisky and wine, they used to put some in our recycle box. They died a few years ago. All our present neighbours just drink lots of milk.

he's got a nice megaphone in that picture, I want a megaphone. You're aloud to used them in public places and they're quite cheap to buy off ebay. Don't know what I'd say though.
