I watched the c-span questioning of the guy - he never once seemed iffy?
he answered all the questions with intelligence. Not a slip.

He did The Don no favours; he failed to prosecute Clinton for  years, over innumerable crimes, even admitting himself that she had committed those crimes, but that he wasn`t going to prosecute her anyway. Why not? Let`s not forget that his first statement was so biased and lacking in legality and common sense in absolving her, and the second statement was only made when he realised he shouldn`t have made the first one. Clinton, Lynch, Abedin, Rice, Podesta, etc.etc; the list is endless, and he should have been fired on Inauguration Day.

He sure should. But maybe Sir Donald was playing the waiting game; and Comey might well have sealed a few others fates....

So last week he calls the Russians the biggest threat to US democracy and this week he gets sacked.
