They were bothered about Brexit in Europe but not overly surprised/bothered as to them its always felt like Britain were half in / half out, France is much more important to the future of the EU, second to Germany, looks like it's here to stay.

Looks like the EU is standing firm, against the hopes of all the people in this country who wish for its destruction.

So just to clarify, the EU is not 'here' to stay , it's over there to stay.
