These people are using their position to meet their own needs.
Even if it isn't new, it still isn't right. The centre ground thing is relatively recent Tallywagger. Started by Blair, until then it was a little more defined. Akabula - never missing an opportunity. If YOU can find others who have done similar things from other parties you don't love, post the examples. I don't care who they are, or who they claim to represent. I'll agree they're wrong. These people are out of order and if they worked in the places most of us work in they'd be sacked. Any bias is in your head, The point you are attempting to make is irrelevant. Just spouting the garbage any Tory MP says when being interviewed, doesn't make it right. We are massively more in debt than we were in 2010, it's merely a question of how the figures are manipulated. Most of us are personally worse off, austerity does not work, after 7 years, we're all worse off than before. The people foisting this upon us aren't suffering themselves, at all. Yet they can make the rules and blame it on the "legacy they took on" until it gets stale and they lose their jobs having saved enough of OUR money to retire on (to add to a lovely pension scheme). |

I'm on a pension, well 2 actually, and thanks to the Tory party for raising the tax threshold year on year I am now £1k per year better off. In my situ that's a welcome sum of money. I've seen people who claim to be in poverty with mobile phones, drinking and smoking. It's not austerity that's the problem it's a lack of prioritising. |

I'm at work. VAT - Bills - costs of everything make my lifestyle less easy than it was. Because austerity isn't a problem for you, doesn't mean it isn't for everyone else. What percentage of the population are drinking, smoking or have a phone (or maybe eat or wear clothes, heaven forbid), in your opinion. Perhaps austerity only exists if you can SEE the poor sods suffering and starving. The ones who are REALLY taking advantage are all like the ones I've shown you all over this thread. Yet you seem to have no issue with them! |

ESA/ Bedroom Tax/ Those with no jobs popping out umpteen kids to get bigger houses and bigger benefits have to be paid by somebody.
I feel more sympathy for those working full time and still having to use food banks, live in sh1t holes, no chance of saving anything , certainly not afford a spare bedroom! So that they can pay their taxes so the feckless get a nice 3 bedroom house of the council etc, work shy claiming ESA still managing a holiday to Spain. MP's expenses are another issue which members of all parties are guilty off. |

(All from the Tory party bar 1) Was it to show those who voted to cut ESA? If so why all the other cr4p? Are these expense claims illegal? Do MPs from other parties not claim expenses? "He is a fan of fracking" - Oh lets hang him for that crime. "Employs his wife as an office manager" - Is this against the rules. An absolute car crash of a post. |

I'm sure if you dug deep enough you'd find this as widespread. If not illegal or against the rules why bring it up. Attack the rule if you see this as a problem. Savings had to be made, whether they are correct or wrong i dont have enough long term data for me to make an opinion, the only thing i can see that more people are working |

Fair enough if it was to attack those who voted to cut ESA but why all the other stuff which are very definitely cross party issues.
All Tory MPs except for 1 Labour MP who is anti Corbyn. Yes very balanced. Maybe if you looked outside of the left wing blogs you'd see this. |
