But it does make sense why May and her underlings are flummoxed over EU approach of complete transparency in the Brexit negotiations. Absolutely nothing they can do about it - so who handles the news when it becomes clear (already is) who is setting the timetable, the sequence, the agenda etc. Its just not the way they like to do things

The EU ref was a cross party issue, not party political. The house of Commons should have come together in support of a democratic process. Instead they have sought to obstruct May.

Jed, UK walks away and the EU is dead. -  completely delusional. In fact it will probably make the EU stronger and more cohesive as it learns the lesson of Brexit. The UK market is replaceable over time within the EU27 themselves - and actually presents opportunities for many of its individual members (Germans, Luxembourgers and Irish already licking their chops at financial services windfalls.

How on earth does the UK replace a 440 million strong market on its doorstep? I'd be interested to hear that.

How is losing a massive net contributor going to make the EU stronger? And why would we need to replace a market? We will still have access to the European market, and any tariffs they want to impose in line with WTO rules will be acceptable to us as they will surely be reciprocated.
