"È questo il capitolo Segala della mafia italiana? Se non vuoi svegliarmi con la testa di un cavallo nel tuo letto, mandami 10 milioni di euro"
What an incredible coincidence!!!!
Unbelievable xmoneyxJust sent this to my daughter....."È questo il capitolo Segala della mafia italiana? Se non vuoi svegliarmi con la testa di un cavallo nel tuo letto, mandami 10 milioni di euro"What an incredible coincidence!!!!
How does anyone know he saw at least two intruders?
Was he in bed or not?
He was reportedly shot in front of his Husband!
Did the husband also see these intruders?
Time for thinking out of the box here....
My suspicions are against the "husband"!!

If burglars carried guns, there's no way it would be a shotgun.
It was either a hit, with the Husband as party to it or, as I said before..it was the Husband.

I don't recall Victor Tabak being mentioned earlier, plus I don't recall that his flat was investigated, or that it ever existed!
Could be wrong on that one, but that's my recollection......

The husband is 48, so that rules him out of whoever was arrested, who is stated as 44 or 41 whichever is correct!
We still come back to why the husband wasn't also shot!
Also the statement of him being shot in bed, which is contradictory to what we are now told!
And again, we are told that he saw at least two intruders, but that obviously came from the lips of the husband!
Presuming that they may well have shared the same bed, are we to assume that he heard something, and went to investigate, and then came back and told the husband, who then also got up to see what was going on.
Unfortunately we don't have all of the information, which would assist the CCDA in forming an opinion.
You would think that it's more likely that the valuable items would be in the bedroom. I mean it's highly unlikely that they would be anywhere else in the house, so there is a lot that doesn't make sense!

You would think that an alarm would be set to cover at least the ground floor, so the question is why wasn't it set?
If the alleged burglars went to the trouble of entering when it was dark, wouldn't they be mindful of the fact that there was, more than likely, an alarm which would have woken up all near neighbours!
I still have to ask how they gained entry? You would think that an alarm would be set to cover at least the ground floor, so the question is why wasn't it set?If the alleged burglars went to the trouble of entering when it was dark, wouldn't they be m

The rozzers still keeping information under their hat, when these incidents seem odd and have lots of unanswered questions there's normally a good reason, there must be some sort of connection here - early arrests, one guy handing himself in and the suspects simply don't look like burglars (and obviously not good at it).

You are right they don't look like burglars but what do they look like? Three or four middle-aged sorts, male and female, creeping about at night in balaclavas with a shotgun. It sounds more like something Miss Marple would investigate.
But if all four involved have been arrested already, why would the police give out any more information? I'd not read anything into that.

Kidnap attempt gone wrong? It doesn't take four people to burgle a house, let alone a shotgun. Some sort of bizarre revenge fantasy because his insurance company turned down a claim for a new washing machine? The whole thing makes no sense.

Were all 4 there or 2 perhaps done for conspiracy?
Odd case indeed. I thought armed burglaries were extremely rare for a few reasons:
1) Sentences will double or treble if you carry/use a firearm.
2) Most burglaries are surely done when noone is home i.e you watch the gaff and learn the routines etc.
3) This aint America. Householders are not armed so why does a burglar need to be?
