He is a pariah, a leper, someone who in his own mind is someone of importance and stature, when in reality voters and and politicians alike would rather forget him, his legacy is war followed by death, all of those parents of dead British soldiers must feel sick everytime they hear from or see him, and all because he was obsessed with his place in history, spineless and weak for following Bush.
Apart from that he is OK. |

About Iraq. He admits, with a throwaway, I was wrong. We acted on the intelligence. The intelligence said WMD. NO IT FKN DIDN'T. Lying scum. |

Think he was right on Iraq, think the is wrong on Brexit,

I always wonder about the terrorist camps that didn't exist apart from the lies about wmd.
Wasn't it all about lashing out by bush - to be seen to be doing something They sure DID something and started SOMETHING. Links to terrorism dodgy to say the least amazing what they tried to get away with. |

There isn't anything Blair could be good for.
He ruined the country, the Labour party, other countries and many many lives. Like SO many politicians he really doesn't: A, See himself as others see him B, have any knowledge of the real world |

The Iraq invasion which had been on the cards for a few years was caused when Saddam, threatned to drop the 'petrodollar' which supports the USA's fedral reserve through artificial demand for the US dollar, and was created soley for this purpose in the 1970s after the 'Gold standard' was dropped, this made the US dollar the global currency of choice.
Any threat to the petrodollar was always going to be dealt with by implementing 'regime change' and to hell with the consequences, as long as the fedrel reserve and therfor America was saved from financial carnage. By 2002, Saddam had fully converted to the euro – in essence, dumping the dollar. On March 19, 2003, George W. Bush announced the commencement of a full scale invasion of Iraq. He need the UK on his side, as he did not want the world to view this as an American only invasion of an 'Arab' nation. BLAIR DULY OBLIDGED, WMD, my ass!!. Mummar Ghaddafi, made the same fatal 'mistake'. This insatiable need for oil means it will be with us for some time to come, The 'Seven sisters (major oil companies) have been calling the shots for decades, now America through it's fear of of financial armeggdon, will do anything by any pretence to protect this artificial global need to deal in dollars. |

no one seems to want to ask what the Iraq people want.
I am sure the aims of America and Britain are fairly close to what the Iraqi people want. |

I always thought he was false. Don't you think that is how he comes over. Like the rolled up white shirt trick that chemical smith adopted to show he was the man of the people. Really a
Two really serious Labour guys were convinced he was the real deal. I said to them 'I wouldn't trust a guy with a smile like Clinton's. Funny how it turned out. Rather a crude analysis - what?? But turned out to be about right!!! |

Yes Blair is an idealist. He is one of those people who feel compelled to fulfill duties,
disagreeable duties, and this can mean falling into great problems if things go wrong. Of course there are always those, on the sidelines and in the background ,who are ready to pounce like savage dogs |

circa 1991 prime ministers q time, major etc run rings around him,
