Took some photos yesterday on my Samsung S3 Mini.

The flash went off, together with the usual sounds that the photo was taken.

The photos didn't appear in the gallery!

Not sure if this is connected, or just coincidence, but today my texts are sounding as if they have gone, but have in fact vanished from the screen (not greyed out as unsent).

Any ideas please?

My phone is wierd. do you have a mini memory card in it? I do, sometimes it saves them to the card other times to phone or something.

Anyway there are two galleries they can decide to go into, depending on the weather.

If it's android there is an app called phone explorer or something to allow you to look at the files on the phone. It's just folders but a bit linuxy.

in these situations I find soaking the item in vinegar for 30 minutes is no help whatsoever

Raving bonkers!

It spontaneously just decided to work again!

Haven't done anything, other than the usual turn off and on again, and reinserting the sim card.
That was yesterday and didn't work.

Was switched off last night, and working fine now, but it would have been good to know the reason, in case it happens again!

Before I asked on here I did the usual searches for advice, and...good grief you need to be a rocket scientist to understand the procedures!

There exists a generation gap with people spending their waking lives seemingly transfixed by them.

The younger generation are staring at them constantly to track and post on social media.

The older generation are staring at them trying to work out how to turn the fecking thing on. Plain
