Died of a heart attack. I wonder how much is done to see if players have any underlying conditions before they begin their careers. RIP big fella.

I recall Terry Yoreth's teenage son, who was all set for a career with LUFC, having a heart attack, whist on a kick about in the garden!

i found out years ago that what I was doing years ago was nuts. I used to jog miles a day. I believe you do get a lot of benefits from it. But you are sweating out lashes of liquids. With that sweat you lose minerals in the sweat. This can deplete you of necessary electrolytes. A lot of runners have heart attacks. I would say it brought my heart rate down to 54 beats per min. I'm at 66 today resting. Getting fat. I knew a boy who ran a local chippie, he was as lean as FK. the veins were all visible in his arms. Not an ounce of fat. He went to the great North Run and never came back. Pushing yourself to the limit can be dangerous if it's not done right. Aging and pushing yourself the same way you did in your twenties can be dumb. I know I can't eat what I ate at twenty, I'm learning hard that binging is over. dialing it back is inevitable and wise. Just walk further than you run. swim.

I couldn't quite recall him, but now I do. Seemed a lovely guy in this interview.
