So, to summarise, the suspect is :
1. An Islamist sympathiser 2. A man well known to the security services 3. A man previously imprisoned for 15 years for the attempted murder of police officers. 4. Interviewed as recently as February about reported threats to police offers, but released 5. Allowed to swan around France as he pleased. What could possibly go wrong? What does an Islamist sympathiser with a profile like this have to do in order to be detained for the security of the public? |
