Funnily enough, I bought three as Christmas gifts, when the first came out, but never had one myself!

Coffee grinder.

Can a George Foreman grill get hot enough to do a well seared medium rare steak? I must say I'm doubtful.

i Fkin love my electric tin opener - there is no negative side to having one.
A kettle too.

a cooker costs you electricity bigtime, you have to clean it once a year (slob)
a fridge hums all night and costs you bigtime when there's just milk in it.
microwave is radioactive.
liquidizers and other stuff takes time to clean.

Zorro, Laugh you don't have to listen to BBC newscasts to terrorise yourself, just walk into the average kitchen, Laugh.
BTW, I agree with you. My bl00dy fridge freezer sounds like a tractor, I regularly put my mobile in the Microwave close the door and ring it with the house phone, if it rings then it's time to replace it. If it's picking up the signal that means the Microwave is 'leaking'
