Had an electric stainless steel sink once, (before RCD fuse boxes), well it was electric when I accidently knocked the toaster in there when the missus was washing up.

Zorro, you don't have to listen to BBC newscasts to terrorise yourself, just walk into the average kitchen, .
BTW, I agree with you. My bl00dy fridge freezer sounds like a tractor, I regularly put my mobile in the Microwave close the door and ring it with the house phone, if it rings then it's time to replace it. If it's picking up the signal that means the Microwave is 'leaking'

If your just cooking For 1 or two people, then it can all be cooked in a Halogen oven, they're brilliant IMO.
