She seemed quite nervous during the cash builder and it showed. Suspect she probably would have got the Micky Mouse question right, for example, in a more relaxed situation.
Bless her, tried to make amends by going for the higher offer when the zero option was the more sensible one, but credit to her for refusing to take the minus 10 despite there being 45K in the pot.
Certainly wouldn't describe her as 'thick', came across a genuine, nice person, and was just unlucky that nerves seemed to get the better of her, but maximum respect for going for the higher offer!

thick maybe an unfair word, she did seem a nice girl, but it just amazes me that people with such little general knowledge a) want to go on that show and b) get on the show. You'd think there must be some kind of pre-entry testing/screening etc. Or maybe its deliberate, maybe its all ****.

To be fair those questions she got were not easy, the only one I would have got right was the Micky Mouse question. She should have gone for the zero option to try and get back, going for the higher offer was a brave move but not the most sensible. And taking the minus offer would have been an insult to the other lady's hard work getting £15,000.
