I don`t think there is any bad press in N.Korea about N. Korea so it is our job to put that right.
that's a good arrangement imo

About time N Korea was dealt with. Only Trump has the bottle.

75k+ Christians in labour camps. The true horrors of this regime will emerge one day.

The 'springers' deserve huge credit. The risks they've taken to get people out are impossible to imagine..

Visit and you'll only see what they want you to see. Makes Vietnam seem like Florida..

Sad to see another war about to start. Americans will eventually start the conflict like they usually do but it will be interesting what Kim does with his nuclear arsenal. If he has some brains he'll use them before the americans hit.

Unlikely US will deal a decisive blow to NK as NK in its current state allows US to build its military presence in the region, and keeps the conflict alive, which is great for weapons business. Korea and Japan may have to accommodate more US bases in the near future.

One million ???? Will that be counting the long term health conditions like cancer over many decades ?

Given it was Sky I'm guessing not too much thought went into it.

On what bases does the guy say 1 million? NK has the fourth largest active military in the world. Their army size alone is over 1 million. Then there is the thing about them having nuclear weapons. And they wont shy away from using them, because thats all they have.

I am also wondering if the South Koreans and Japanese have a say in what the US does? Because in case of war, they will be the ones facing damages, not the americans, who will have at most limited personnel damage, and they dont have any shortage of sheeps willing to fight their wars. Korea and Japan will have to live with the consequences.

“The US has been picking only on countries without nuclear weapons,” a North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said earlier this week, according to the official KCNA news agency. “The Syria attack thoroughly reminds us that … only military power of our own will protect us from imperialistic aggression.”

They certainly do have a big military force, shame they don't look after their population instead Sad

North Koreans are vey intelligent people, are they not?  I'm no expert in Korean culture but I don't see martyrdom as huge attraction for them - that's for the more retarded cultures.
So I think this will be all be solved by diplomacy - in Asia its all about saving face, so the politicians need to come up with a solution that doesn't make the Koreans look weak, and at the same time is palatable with the US. Tough job but doable, surely ? China holds the key, imo.

Listen to that podcast, Trump can nuke anyone at any time.

2 maniacs with triggers at the ready with the planet at their peril. This ain't no Cuban Missile Crisis, this could spark at any time. No longer does it take an hour to nuke a city, there are subs around every major country that could nuke one within seconds and all it takes is one maniac to blink first.

Agree that China must be the resolution. With the recent US/ China trade talks I think it's possible but the NK has everything to lose and nothing to gain so it may be in their interests to strike first.

I think it's all down to the next nuclear test. If it's this weekend then Trump will find it difficult not to react.

with the usa terrorising the world it is now imperitive to have a nuclear defence, i cant recall many countries that north korea have invaded, or sought to change their government. i havent got enough room in the reply box to list all the countries that the us have intervened in, yet the people that brought you the weapons of mass destruction fraud try to convince us korea is the problem
