Agree, mo, it's awful. They get away with it though as most of their customers drink coffee flavoured milk laced with sugar so can't tell good from bad.
They had bad publicity over the tax issue which may have had a reaction from customers.

Never had a starbucks and never will, they dont pay tax and said they would hire 10000 refugees rather than hiring anyone or veterans. Love it when a company shows its true colours.

Don't use the place 'cos of their tax frauds, couldnt be one of the reasons would it.

I dont drink Starbucks coffe because it is probably the worst. I did like Cafe Nero but have stopped using them as they don't pay their due in tax either. I try and use independent coffee retailers if I can.

I think the pound is going to make a comeback over the next year. Europe could destabilise and Chump wants a lower dollar.

I dont buy from amazon either, tax dodgers who really care about its employees. Would never use uber too, they take advantage of people who only exist to work.
Report zorrostrikes April 14, 2017 2:28 AM BST
i leave my tap running twenty four hours a day, just on principle.

when i want to burn through what little money I have i'll go to starbucks.

brexit? coffee costs ten pence a cup? fk the extortionists.

Everything on there is not sold by Amazon though so you may be after say a clock and mr_Muhammed has one for sale on Amazon but you won't buy because Amazon don't pay tax.

You use Betfair who are based where Malta ?

What clothes are made in UK now

I have old Celtic tops from just the 90s and they have made in England by UMBRO
Report TheChaser April 14, 2017 8:40 AM BST
Last Celtic top i bought for family member was made in Bangladesh and before that it was China

You can get fakes and i bet they will just be write offs from all they factories. You think the Bangladeshies are all stupid and work for pennies. They are on the scam aslo but quite right wages will be low.

As for Starbucks never tried it in my life
But i got a bag on offer delivered from tesco last week but need a fecking strainer for it as it just floats about the cup.Why not just put the fcer in a bag like tea.

You bought your Scottish Football tops from England? May I take it you are not waving your tartan knickers in the air with Nicola's gang?
Report TheChaser April 14, 2017 10:13 AM BST
Not my fault they where made there and not the Highlands

What clothing factories are still in the UK/England

Brands we would know

Mike Cashleys gear is Cambodian more than likely

Lacoste was French i guarantee that China now

Adidas gave up looking for fakes as so many

Check ebay many many fakes when that started you used to get banned for selling fakes

Mayweather said his TMT fakes show his company is worth copying and he hopes everyone arounf the world wears them if they cant afford the real deal.

If we all stopped using certain places for reasons we would end up being unable to go anywhere.I like the way sonko says f.U to Amazon.I use it sometimes never for anything i really need Laugh

Are you sure about that?

You'd be hard pushed to avoid buying from Israel in this day and age. In addition to mobile phones, computer processors are developed and/or manufactured in Israel.

Ditto operating software and software supporting social media and video sharing websites.

Also, Teva is the largest generic drugs manufacturer in the world.

I drink coffee at home. It's dirt cheap.

The rise of coffee shops is extraordinary. A sign of wealth. Drive to town. Go to a shop with a sofa, pay 10+ times the cost of 'home coff' and read the paper. Why?

You could make the same argument about people who go to restaurants and wine bars, buy expensive cars when they could travel by bus, stay in hotels or sleep with prostitutes, to name but a few of the things which could be done more cheaply.
All part of life's rich tapestry.

Foinavon but with prostitutes you get to choose the lush one

We don't know what's in that cup it has more sugar and caffeine than Coca Cola i would rather Ride a prossie bare back than go to bucks it's safer

You can get a double espresso for about £2, no milk or sugar unless you add it yourself.
