I seem to remember reading recently that the longest married couple in the uk had been together for 77 years, so your sis and her chap are up there with the best.

Cheers chaps, she's 22 years older than me and is my half sister. Different dad. Pregnant at 15 with my 73 year old niece. Mum was not best pleased apparently, but it's worked out ok I think. Sent some flowers, of course.

The club/ cance troop she was with in the 30s was the Nignogs.

Well I certainly have. Was addicted to everything and blew a shedload for 30 years. Clawed a lot back in the nearly 15 years on here though.

Never heard that before,kincsem. Brings back fond memories of my 2 holidays in Douglas in 70 and 71, despite nearly being booted off the island by the police.
