How do they date it? what radiometric method? or is it dated because they found it in a particular strata? when stratas can be laid down within weeks as when there is localized volcanic activity. That's the explanation they give when they find fossilized trees going thru millions of years of strata? Polystrate fossils.
finally the creation explanation in the bible lasts one page. God does not regard it as important. one chapter out of 66 that deals with creation. All the other books is about the redemption of creation. All of creation is a setup to make souls that accept spiritual gifts. seed that germinates and produces a bride for God. it's a love story between God and Man. You are running away from a chance to connect with God. You still fear him.

The Hebrew word for serpent is nachash, and the Greek equivalent is ophis. It means “snake, serpent, sly, cunning, and image of a serpent.” The late Dr. Henry Morris says of the Hebrew word:
There has been much speculation as to whether the serpent originally was able to stand upright (the Hebrew word nachash, some maintain, originally meant “shining, upright creature”).
Although, this speculated meaning may have been deduced from Genesis 3:14 regarding the serpent being forced to crawl on its belly, this doesn’t really help us ascertain if the serpent had legs or not.
