The penalties for animal cruelty in England and Wales need to change. By taking a couple of minutes to email your MP today, you will be asking them to increase the maximum sentence available from just six months to five years.

So people who allow their animals to get in this condition, can only be jailed for 6 months! If indeed they are jailed.

I agree that the maximum sentence is inadequate. You can't be wrong all the time
