It is disappointing to note the exclusion of Ron Russian, Guinness and Glimmer Man during my short hiatus from the forum. I enjoyed reading their contributions during the EU referendum and US elections. To give credit where it's due, they all stuck to their guns throughout despite a barrage of vitriolic abuse and were ultimately proven correct on both counts against all odds. An honourable mention to Burt, too, on this score.
Another sadly missed is Eternal Optimist. A regular contributor to Chit Chat and Politics fora, he was an intelligent fellow who led a varied and interesting life. |

PM.... This thread was in response to an exact same thread put up by Torquemada who listed all the supposedly left-wing forumites but it was taken down by the mods because somebody said something too extreme.

Porkmonster I note you are not on the looney right wing , whilst at most times you are usually polite and do not indulge in verbal assaults you are still extremely right wing on most issues and at times can be very dismissive of others with differing views, as above when you mentioned some of the Donny fan boys being correct in the US elections , no porkmonster they just agreed with him that doesn't make them correct far from it
