all about balance - also some foods cancel others out - for example beans shouldn't really be eaten alongside nutrient dense food. Too much veg and fruit for vitamin c is a pointless excercise as you p1ss most of the vitamin out -as you would with too much vit B . Too much fibrous food inc beans leaches vitamins . Vit A is fine as it stores and protects the liver - allows you to drink that much more alcohol too Diary is sh1te aside from the calcium value. Meat is even sh1ter.
veg is pretty much ok all day long but fook me , it's boring ! Fat is best from avacados nuts etc .

I personally rinse off the tomato sauce (unless it's on toast) add a few spoonfuls of tikka sauce from a jar and have it with some chicken? the advantage is you never burn the beans, beans are boiled in water, without sauce. When they are red hot you add the sauce. no burnt pot. Also with lasagna? The Italians mix beans with pasta.

I like beans too and grow loads of broad beans every year. Red kidney beans are good too and for convenience, we buy then ready cooked in cans. Tomato concentrate is great for flavouring and has no added sugar like ketchup. I often use it as a topping for toast or cheese on toast.
