Its remarkable. This doll has been causing problems for a while and Germany have now called for parents to destroy it while our snooping state dont.

It just outlines how far our 'rights' have plummeted when ex communist/stazi state have more privacy rights than we do.

It really wouldnt surprise me if or state wasnt hacking the things themselves to spy on kids.

Why would the state spy on kids? Bigger hacking issues over there tbf.

Im not saying they are, just that it wouldnt surprise me now.
No other state has taken the measures ours have in running cart and horses through people's rights and freedoms.

The dolls in question are apparently hackable so that tech savvy individuals could hold conversations with the kids unbeknown to other adults.
The kid would obviously think the doll is genuine and grow to trust it, whoever manipulated the doll could manipulate the kid.
If the state wanted an inside spy then they would have one.

Its ironic that it involves Germany since it opens the possibility of what was once known as 'Nazi Youth' where kids were encouraged to grass their parents up.
Thats an extreme, but the internet is said to have only a decade at best before it become a series of intergates that are heavily controlled....you wouldnt have imagined that when it was first invented.
