He's good. In fact he is nearly as good as Ben Waters

genius on the piano, and very well respected in the music industry, hence how he manages to tempt some big acts to his show.

Remember him guesting with an act once and they were playing the track in a different key - he just switched without a moments hesitation. That takes a bit of doing.

Had The The album - played it loads - don't think I ever knew it was Jools.
Whenever I see him joining in on Later I feel that sometimes the bands would like to say 'F off Julian, we're OK as we are, thanks' |

Name me any hits Jolls Holland has had?
His influence was peripheral to the success of Squeeze. He teamed up with Tom Jones to record an album of contemporary takes on old Blues numbers. The thing tanked. After thirty years in front of a TV camera he STILL looks like it's his first time there, umming and ahhing away like a spazz. The question is: does Jools Holland have ANY discernible talent or just a bunch of compromising pictures of producers and commissioning agents? |

'Hits' ![]() We're not in the 60's anymore. You can still be talented and not be in the ' Charts' In fact nowadays , it's a positive disadvantage. |

Yes, get 'with it' rtb
