Awful trade. Have been gifted a suite of Bob Dylan songs bought into a file - this gesture cost money as they were purchased on Amazon. (He's very zealous about taking down anything on Youtube.) So one should not complain, except that the re-mastering has ruined the songs. It is obvious that the songs lifted from the Greatest Hits album have over-dubbed vocals where a much older Dylan "adds emphasis" in the current fashion for vulgar emotion; as if he were auditioning for Simon Cowell.
These remastered tracks are completely ruined:
Make You Feel My Love
Forever Young (worthy of Dewhurst the butchers)
If You See Her Say Hello (audience weeping, but not for the right reason)
And the echt version of Desolation Row (with electric organ) cannot be found.
I imagine itunes are as bad as Amazon, because this is capitalism.
