Saw them in Brum last night.

Great musicianship. Iommi and Butler will never lose it and the best accolade I can give Tommy Clufetos is that whilst it would have been great to have had Bill Ward drumming, he wasn't missed. You had three near 70 year olds up there, making a mighty din and you had to chisel the grin off my face afterwards!

But Ozzy is gone at the game.

Sure it was entertaining, like pantomime is entertaining, seeing him shuffle about like a gored robot, flashing peace signs everywhere. But this was their penultimate gig ever allegedly, in their home town, yet you got the impression they boot him with the same hard disk just before showtime and then take it out afterwards. I bet Saturday night's crowd get exactly the same patter as we got last night. Nothing deviating much from 'Show me your hands.....make some noise....make some effin' noise...God bless I love you'

Anyway, I saw 3/4s of the greatest rock band in history perform live - so me 1, rest of human race 0

Nice one roger.  I would like to have witnessed that gig.

Never seen the Sabs but saw Ozzy headline (I think?) Donington 1986 (?).  Always preferred his studio work.

Tough call between him & RJD as better vocalist.  They were both brilliant.
