A typical lefty, muslim apologist, gay, ira supporter who defends lunatics like Chavez and Corbyn.Makes me think that living in a police state would have its advantages if creeps like him were taken out of circulation.

I remember the knack;rita tushingham and ray brooks....don't understand reference to Owen Jones though.

anxious I don't believe people should be given air time to spout nonsense and drivel....if Jones really believes Chavez wasn't a basket case who wrecked the Venezuelan economy then he should be certified.

Anyone see him storm off Sky paper review a few weeks back?

Probably couldn't stomach that they were discussing a gay club attacked by a Muslim.

He's one of the organisers of a protest against Trumps recent banning of immigrants from 7 countries.
What law has Trump broken with that decision?

I saw him Kenny. Was embarrassing behaviour from him simply because neither of the presenters would agree with him.

As opposed to wanting someone banned from entering the country for exactly the same reason?

In what way did he take Morgan apart?

I didn't see the interview live but I've just watched a clip of it and Jones seems to be very smug about the fact that he did organise a rally against Saudi Arabia. Is that it ?  1 rally ?  1 little rally ?  Point is, nobody is aware of this rally, it certainly wasn't all over the news and mainstream media the way this nonsense march was. And that's the point. Pure self-indulgent, pompous HYPOCRISY of the most delusional kind.

Why comment when you haven't watched the full interview ?

I've just watched that clip and PM said there was no mass rally organised.
OJ holding a protest outside the Saudi Embassy hardly proved him wrong.

I thought the opening comment of Philip Davies summed the situation up well, a pointless protest.
He then added it was the first time he's ever seen anyone protesting because someone was carrying out their election promises. Laugh

I watched it on YouTube - they ended the clip at the ad break. I can't find the part after that. But I saw enough to see his weak responses which were obviously well prepared. As I said, that's 1 little rally. There was no outcry in this country about the Saudis or any other leaders of oppressive states who regularly get invited to the UK, there's been nothing said about Obama's 6 month ban of Iraqi refugees, nor the fact that this current ban was his doing, originally. Not a peep about that.
By:
akabula

And the current ban is partly in place because the 7 countries refuse to play ball with the USA on basic info of individuals.

By:

When: 31 Jan 17 23:26
A poor argument against this policy given the rise in ISIS numbers.
The US has asked for some basic info and been denied it. Why should they take any risks?

What's the relevance of that to what he said about the Trump protest?

But he wasn't stating anything that required us to think whether it was the truth or not.
Pointless because it will have no impact on Trump or the USA and surely you followed the election campaign, in fact I know you did as you complained about his proposed bans on immigration.
So again I ask what is the relevance of your post?

One should never allow one's political feelings to descend into violence, we all know that. We also know that if you get into a lift with Owen Jones and he gets out of that lift, you've let the side down.

I'm no fan of Trump or American politicians in general but I fail to see why he is being singled out for so many protests in this country.
Criticism yes but this hysteria on the streets is pathetic and as said pointless.
With Brexit looming we need to look to the US for new trading deals and should be encouraging the PM to do so.
