No-one could possibly have any arguments with stated aims of his speech, the thrust of which was :
Against : criminals, drugs, gangs, Islamist terrorists. For : a desire to support the people of his own country, getting people off Welfare, having strong borders, What's not to like about that? Every politician in the West should be applauding those aims. Meanwhile, here are Corbyn's priorities : 1. No-limit Immigration into the UK, regardless of the motivations of the incomers 2. VIP treatment for the Illegal Immigrants of the Calais Camps 3. How dare these role earn big salaries, we must put a stop to that 4. Whitewash enquiries into alleged Anti-Semitism |

Given that the previous administration has partially trashed the USA, I am fascinated how trump will be able to do anything to change it all.
I look at how Labour left the finances and even the tory cuts really didn't get them very far over debt - in fact it has increased hugely and still running a deficit. As for c4 - there is just no perspective at all. It is just a Trump 'hate hour' bit like 1984 really. |

Donald Trump has announced plans to develop a missile defence system to protect the US against attacks from Iran and North Korea.
Within minutes of his inauguration as US President, Mr Trump's administration said it would develop a "state of the art" system. It did not provide details on whether the missile defence system would differ from those already under development, how much it would cost or how it would be paid for. I totally agree with that. Not only is North Korea trying to create ICBMS, they are messing around AFAIK with launching them from subs. And they are total headcases.
