beans, tikka sauce, - wash beans of crap tom sauce, in pot with water boil for minutes, put in tikka sauce. with toast or without. mince can be added. broccoli, add a spoonful of saesame oil to boiling water - nice. add salt. cheap noodles with a tin of mackerel fillets in sunflower oil. uncooked porridge oats with yogurt and jam. fondant potatoes - fry ends of potatoes in butter, then oven cook. baguettes with tomato and butter - add salt. with tea. ALL BASIC stuff to keep you going - chips too. |

Tin of chickpeas, tin of tomatos, half an onion finely chopped, bit of garlic and spice up with whatever you have in the cupboard{ chilli powder or turmeric for me] serve over a bed of rice/pasta/couscous. Any left over sauce, whack it through a blender or spud mash it and eat as a dip with a raw carrot or two. Cheap and healthy. You might even have some change.
